Policy Committee of Prevention First of Colorado
The policy committee of Prevention First Colorado convened in 2008 to discuss the state of reproductive health care in Colorado. It was then that the committee formed policy recommendations to be research and eventually implemented.
The Prevention First Colorado policy program uses original research conducted by the Coalition to make policy recommendations that are specific to the needs of all the residents of Colorado. This research was conducted in 2006 and 2007 with adult women throughout the state, and based on this research 11 policy recommendations were composed by the Prevention First policy committee.
