Policy Program

In 2007 the Policy Program of Prevention First Colorado drafted 11 policy recommendations regarding reproductive health care in Colorado. Now that the final report has been published the policy committee is focused on seeing these recommendations implemented.     Policy Committee

    The policy committee of Prevention First Colorado was convened to strategize potential solutions for some of the reproductive health care issues facing Colorado. This committee created 11 policy recommendations based on Prevention First Colorado original research and the reproductive health care needs of Colorado.

    Policy Recommendations

    Prevention First Colorado has composed and published 11 key policy recommendations in a report titled "Planning, Protection, Prevention; Reducing Unintended Pregnancy in Colorado." These recommendations state the facts, outline the current environment, compare Colorado to other states in the nation and then make suggestions regarding the improvement of reproductive health care in the state of Colorado.
