About Us: Statement of Purpose

Prevention First Colorado will achieve an increase in the use of contraceptives and reduction of unintended pregnancy in Colorado by:
• Working in coalition to identify issues and barriers to contraceptive use;
• Conducting real time social science research to identify issues and barriers to contraceptive use;
• Making public policy recommendations which will help to increase contraceptive use and reduce unintended pregnancy; and
• Carrying out public education campaigns to increase contraceptive use and reduce unintended pregnancy.
